Aim: By Thursday you need to decide what animal group you would like to join for literacy with Mrs Mclachlan.

So what group would YOU like to join and become an expert in???

Vertebrates	They have backbones.
Invertebrates	Invertebrates don’t have backbones, vertebrates have bones.
Mammals	Mammals  drink milk specially because they need to drink milk so they don’t die too fast,
Sea Mammals	Animals that don’t have any fir like fish dolphins and whales And jelly-fish.
Birds	They are born hard like reptile’s. They shelled the egg’s.
Reptiles	They have Scaly Skin and it is hard like Plastic.They are Born on Land. They are a cold blooded Animal.
Amphibians	They are born in water and they breath with heaps of gill’s.

The   lions   calf    muck  up   day

One Sunny day the buffalos were walking through the desert, just walking along the dry grass. Me the  lion I felt happy when I attack the calf and chased it because it’s really weak and slow that is why I chased the baby buffalo. And because, the baby buffalo was very slow and then the bigger ones came and chased us away, and they tried to put their horns and try to hook us up and swing us away, so we ran off so we don’t get hurt. Before we went and started, we walk off to go home,and leave the buffalos alone, and be happy ever after.

I was sunbathing in the sun and we, saw a whole herd of buffalos came along the desert, at I started chasing the little baby buffalo, because it was very  weak and slow.

I had a noth of chasing the little buffalo, we took it and started taking the baby buffalo to the pond, and we were biting it it didn’t die it was still, alive and then the,crocodile came and we played tug of war, we didn’t share the little buffalo because it was our feast for dinner. But we couldn’t  eat it because the bigger buffalos were near they scared, us away from eating the buffalo it didn’t die it got , away, because the huge big buffalos came towards us we ran and some stayed like three stayed and the rest left some they, don’t get swung up in the air and die we don’t want, to die because we could be faster than the buffalos, can run 10km and hour. lions can run 1000kms and hour not, not buffalos.

Animal	Why the foot is best for this type of environment
Camel	So they can walk on things.
Gecko	So they can climb things
Duck	So they can do some swimming.
Polar bear	So they can run very fast to catch food. And swim to food in the water.like fish.

Thursday the 12th of may.

I like orana park because…

I saw gorilla’s punching the little kid. 

It was cool at orana park I saw some 

meerkat's standing on the tall log 

looking out for danger.

At orana park we saw some kea’s,

they used their beaks to cut shiny container 

there were 6 kea’s. at orana we saw gorillas and 

3 peacocks 2 were rainbow and bright colours 

and 1 was white.

Life In The Trenches In World War 1

W.A.L.T describe what life was like for men and women in WW1 through a diary entry.

15th of November 1916

When me and Mum were at home we got 10 letters from Dad and my Brother my Dad and brother are at war now. So they can save the country, but I hope that my Brother and dad don’t die because they make me good lunch and then he stopped making lunch because he went to War

16th of November 1916

We had Burger King for dinner but we missed dad so much because he didn’t come back home to us. We miss him when he doesn’t come back home he normally has tea with us. I wonder what he’s having for tea tonight he love’s the tea that we make for him Dad is the best because he loves me so much like he will never go away

17th of November 1916

We waited tall he sent us a letter’s because he really loves us so much and when he's finished he’s going to come back home tomorrow.Then he is going to give us a big hug when he get’s back from life in the trenches
