Display stone carving day 5

Today for Stone carving we are putting out stone carving art work on display for the public to see and then we get to give them away here are some examples off google of some of the ideas we have created by ourselves and as  groups and with parteners.

This is a picture of a Koru and it looks similar to the one that i have one ages ago at school and it is now on display.

Also here is a picture of a love heart stone carving. its not the same but almost it just has a design on it but people haven't done that we only made plain ones hope you like it. the one of the left not the right  because we didn't have that material for our project we were creating

Today I am carving a heart and here is a example this is for a person at school called Whaea Jude but I have not finished next week I might finish. Today for stone carving I am gonna be finishing my koru that I have already started. after I have done I will also be finishing my little piece that is shaped like a triangle, and a s is also carved into it. here is some picture for examples of my work I have done but off google. Passion Projects Stone carving oamaru

For my passion project I chose stone carving because its fun. We had to make a koru it looks cool when its finished, but when we are finished it we might get to make something a little bit harder of our choice which sounds really awesome. also here is a picture of what we have done. 

Daily 10

In the morning first thing for math's everyone has to do a quick 10. Here are some picture of my quick 10. I also get them all right.
This is a app we have to go on, and do a quick which is, you have some answers like there's one then you quick and it will go onto the next question.
In my book I have to write down the answers, and at the end the daily 10 will be done, and then I have to check off my answers.

Yurtle The Turtle

Hi We now have the turtle named Yurtle in our classroom. We got them because it was our turn to have them so we also gave them the 2 frogs that we had named Yoda, and Bell they were amazing they made these weird noises. We gave these letters to Mrs Mitchell at St Bernadette´s school... Our letters had to explain why we should have Yurtle... Some people said because the children in your class would love the sound they make. It sounded like they were farting but they were calling out to each other... The turtle named Yurtle also had red ears. but she didnt say yes straight away we had to give her a good reason why  we should have Yurtle.

A strange thing happened on the way to school

A strange thing happened on the way to school:

One day on the way to school this strange thing happened. There was this old man who was following me from around Buchanan's Road all the way to school, I felt scared as a brick. When i keep looking behind me, he was getting closer, and closer I was wondering why he was following that far.

As I was on waterloo road he started to ask me these random questions, he wanted to know where I lived but, I didn’t want to tell him anything, because I didn’t know who the man was. Than I thought I had seen him on TV. I did he was from the other side of the world, and I also knew what his name was, his name was called Donald Trump from the united states of America I think.

Then he asked what school do you go to, I said why do you want to know that. He said because i wanted to know how good the school was. Firstly he didn’t even ask if the school was good, I thought what is he doing, when he speaks he is not making any sense.

Then I ran away from him because I felt so scared that I nearly exploded, and Bursted out with blood from my head. When I got to school I finally saw that he had gone. So I said (phew) then I had a happy rest of the day at school. Also I thought what could happen to me after school since what he done to me on the way to school.

Here is my final work that was my draft that I made more better and hopefully you enjoy my story...

I got annoyed when he kept on asking questions I didn’t know what to do about it. I thought what is he going to do, when he speaks he doesn’t make any sense. I think he doesn’t make sense because he’s a old fat chubby man.

Then I ran so fast he couldn’t catch me because of his old age and I nearly exploded because of how scared I was, and he did want to stop chasing after me but one thing when he stopped asking questions. All he wanted to know was how good my school was. When I finally made it I felt happy because he didn’t want to kidnap me he wanted to visit my school. He only followed so he could find his way to HHS.

Also HHS stands for Hornby high school hope I made more sense for my writing. Thanks for reading!...

Maths 3D Shapes

Here is some picture of what I made for 3D shapes he first one was what I had made today.

This is Lily looking through the camera as I was talking a picking of what I had made for math's with triangular shapes and she is my friend

this shape took me ages to make and lily tried to make one but she gave up and broke it but atleast she tried she had only done the bottom piece and then she got sick of it.
