Term 1 Art, this term in art i've been working on this painting and vocal points, the first thing i see in my painting would be the spider which is in the middle of the painting. Before we did the painting we had to do a few thumbnail sketches, one for what our painting will look like, another for if we are going to add something to it to make it look more detailed.
After finishing my painting we then blue tacked them to the wall for display...

Thank you so much, it took me a while to figure out what i really wanted to do. It also took me a while to fugure out how i would put it all together and how it would workout, and then i ended up making my own master piece
DeleteKia ora Abbagale, thanks for posting. Your own aesthetic is very obvious in this exercise - there is a textured, dark patterning to it. It is a simple composition that works very well, which is something some of us find hard to do! what would you call your focal point in this piece? Can you explain how leading lines work in it? they are both here and you have probably developed them in this piece without much thought because you do this naturally. It doesn't hurt to start to break down and understand how that happens in your own practice too.
