Sexxxy Paragraph

Scene - 'They Dont Own Me'

Brainstorm:

Angles/movement/shots -  Over the shoulder - shows speaker, puts us in listeners P.O.V makes us part of the conversation. - Close Ups - Shows the emotions of the two - Nervous, Anxious, Mostly Peeta.

Diagetic Sound

lighting - colour - Mood - sad, gloomy,  - greys, darks, blacks, dim lighting - works with C/U to highlight emotions on faces

settings

costumes + makeup

Character / Dialogue

- "i dont want them to change"

- "i dont wanna be another piece in their game"

- "if im gonna die, i wanna still be me"

Theme - Rich v Poor, Hope + Rebellion, struggle for power

What Happened - Peeta + Katniss are having a conversation about how the games might effect them

Atmosphere - foreboding, nervous, reluctant, hesitant,

- Lighting + Colour - P2

- Dialogue - P1

- close-ups - P3

In The Scene " they dont want me ", Dialogue is used to create a foreboding atmosphere.

Katniss and Peeta are having a conversation about how the upcoming games might effect them. This is demonstrated by the quotes " I dont want them to Change me, " and "If I'm gonna die, I still wanna be me" spoken by Peeta. These show that Peeta has a sense that he is going to have to do things that he doesn't want to have to do like kill others. This makes the audience feel sorry for Peeta because he is likely going to die, or kill others to stay alive. The director did this to make us believe Peeta will die early and that being a tribute isn't something to celebrate but a loss of personal autonomy. This worked well with the Dark colours of blacks and greys which adds to the foreboding atmosphere. This aspect can be contrasted to when Peeta joins the Career Pack once in the game because they are cold hearted killers which is what Peeta didn't want to be.

Understanding How Characters Are Developed In A Film

Identify 2-3 of these character strengths in Katniss, Peeta, (Little girl)

Katniss's Strength was Bravery and Creativity - Her bravery was by when she was fighting this man/boy at the end of winning the hunger games, and also when this other girl had sharp weapons on katniss's neck, Also she was brave trynna fire the arrow at the man holding the neck of Peeta.

Her Creativity part was when - She used to creative mind to climb a tree so all the other tributes including Peeta couldnt get to her, also so she was able to survive without being killed and losing The Hunger Games

Workshop - 5 Music

Tempo - Speed of the music - fast / slow / moderate

Dynamics - Volume - how loud or quiet it is

RUES DEATH SCENE:

Rues death: Directors Purpose: feel katnisses Emotions at that moment - remore, anger, helplessness, acceptance, rebellion

Symbols of 3 fingers Salutte is a Sign of Defiance + Anger towards the game makers - You will not take my humanity, Also a symbol of unification with those who have lost loved ones to the games.

Music is used to create an atmosphere of Sorrow and Remorse in Rues Death Scene. - We see Katniss dealing with the Slaughter of her young friend Rue. For example, the tempo is slow, the dynamics are quiet and the key  is minor to reflect the emotional roller-coaster that Katniss is feeling. Like the music, Katniss moves slowly and methodically to cover Rues Body in white flowers. As she finishes , the music builds in volume, showing the increasing intensity of her anger and grief towards the Capitol. This makes us understand the pain experienced by the families of the tributes when they are killed each year. This was done to enable the viewer to feel the characters emotions. This worked well with  the use of while flowers to symbolise rues innocence + purity and the high angle shop making her weak + vulnerable. combined with the music we are shown that Rue is a victim of the cruelty if the Capitol

Key - Major - Happy sound, Minor - Sad sound

Rues Death: How is music used to create atmosphere: Depressing/sad/mournful - Minor, tempo-slow, dynamics-quiet, gets louder as katniss raises her salutte + District 11 riots. - What Happened - Rue Is killed, Katniss tries to give her body the closest to a burial that she can. - Colour/Lighting - white flowers, natural lighting, greens, stands out, - Symbol - Innocent + pure - rue never killed anyone, kind, compassionate, victim. - Shots / Angles -  Medium close-ups, Rue + Katniss - See their emotions + facial expressions - Anguish- high angle - weak + vulnerable - Rue is an innocent + blameless victim. - Effect on viewer - Atmosphere of remorse/intense sadness, as the volume increases, it builds the intensity of the emotions, - we see emotions are. - Contagious - hope.

Passion Projects Reflection

 What we did?

  • We had planning paper, I(Abby) Sketched out what the design would look like on the canvas but first on the piece of sketch paper with a pencil

  • We also stuck some buttons on as either blossoms fruits or just to give it some details and it looks really good

What changed as we went along?

  • Figuring out that some of the colours either dried darker or didn’t even dry fast in the time we needed them to

  • What also changed was when we stuck the buttons it we used hot glue and it was super stringy and went everywhere and I had to pick all the stringy bits off

What we learned?

  • Learned that not all paints work out on our canvas, and oil paint doesn’t dry fast it takes a while depending on the amount we used

How we both worked as a team?

  • We worked together doing the smallest and simplest things first

What would we do differently next time?

  • Take my time and not try to rush into finishing it, maybe be careful around the edges

Venngage Poster - The Hunger Games

Here's how i've done my Venngage Poster for The Hunger Games, I hope this has some good explanations of this short clip we watched and With Peeta and Katniss, As Primrose got chosen her older sibling Katniss desided to volunteer as one of the tributes to save her little sister. These are the key points of the clip with a little explaining at each of these numbers on my Venngage

I Found interesting that Katniss had chosen to volunteer as tribute because as I was watching the clip seems like no one would of done that as Katniss did for her little sister.

I am learning to understand the parts of the clip that we are writing about, in detail and figure out what the most importants parts are

this work shows my learning by presenting a presentation of what im learning about in class with alot of things included in it

I am wondering what could happen in the next movie and how i could write a good SEXXY paragraph about what ive been doing and make it full of detail and very interesting for this Hunger Games we been working on

Evolution

During this lockdown we have had to do learning from home, which can be a bit complicated. We can even learn more things well we are home. Here is the work ive completed for my science work

Why wouldn't the giraffes grow longer necks just because the trees were tall?

Individual life forms don't develop however irregular hereditary changes cause a few giraffes to be brought into the world with longer necks, allowing them the preferred opportunity at endurance over the giraffes with more limited necks. This all Sumarizes to saying how appropriate they are to their current circumstance, which means how well the animal (the giraffe for this situation) adjusts inside its environment.
What needs to happen in order for a gene to become more common?

Remember that Normal Choice occurs at the hereditary level if the very quality that exists in one organic entity will likewise exist in its family members which were referenced previously, this happens when it is passed down while duplicating. Irregular hereditary changes influencing the animals organic entities who convey it create and act uniquely in contrast to others with non-indistinguishable characteristics, coming about to make duplicates of the transformed quality being passed down(reproducing).

Shakespeare 12th night

Yesterday the 12th of August I went to this play called the Shakespeare 12th night play at the Isaac Royal Theatre. The theatre was really fancy and had a few chandeliers. I went there to watch this play with heaps of characters. It was very entertaining. There were scenes of this one man kissing a few other girls and this man, I didn’t really get what it was about but I loved watching the play. There was this one favourite character I liked, who was acting as a woman and a man. The favourite scene of this play was when they were at a bar all drunk dancing around and other things. At the very start there was a weird part where there were 3 people in a bed. Which alot of people called a “3some” lol. Some bits i watched was quit funny, as i sat with my bestfriends laughing because of what they did in the play.

Critical Literacy

Everyday in Wananga for the first 20 to 30 mins we all have been doing some sites to do with reading. The one Ii have been using for my reading is called read theory. There are quite a few questions and sections to read through and answer questions on. This reading site is really helpful for my learning. You get a score out of 1 to 100%. If you would like a useful reading site just search up read theory and create a google acc and its free and doesn't cost anything

Rusty Nails

Whats makes nails rust

- In the event that you at any point can't help thinking about why nails rust, this is on the grounds that rusting happens when a metal is presented to oxygen. The particles of iron on the outside of the nail trade iotas with the oxygen noticeable all around and produce another substance, the rosy earthy coloured ferrous oxide

How to prevent them from rusting

Galvanisation is the interaction by which nails are covered with a zinc compound. The zinc gives a defensive covering that keeps the nail from rusting. Most nails that you buy at a tool shop or that are utilised in development are electrifies.

How long does it take nails to rust

The nails in water should both structure rust inside three weeks, and the vinegar should rust a nail roughly multi week later..

The Great Depression

 Great Depression of 1929 - 30

Germany was forced to agree to many terms laid out to them by signing the treaty of versailles. Germany was told to pay billions of dollars in reparations to the Allies when this happened millions of people lost  their jobs, factories closed down and the economy fell. This caused hyperinflation resulting in their german mark being labelled as worthless. This therefore supports the statement that Germany was hit the hardest by the great depression.

1929 symbolised the start of a destructive era as a harsh treaty was forced upon Germany to take ownership of the detrimental war. .There were many terms however the most significant ones were the reparations, reduction in Germany's military and ownership of starting WW1. This therefore shows us the main terms Germany was forced to sign in the treaty of Versailles 1919.
