 Pacific Waste Problem Exposed

• The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and plastic pollution generally, is killing marine life. 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals are affected every year, as well as many other species. For example, turtles often mistake plastic bags for prey such as jellyfish.

Why is the chosen cause producing this effect?

• The Trash Fix is made by the North Pacific Gyre. A Gyre is an arrangement of flowing flows in a sea, brought about by the Coriolis Impact. Studies from Algalita Marine Exploration Foundation and Scripps Seaplex have reported pelagic fish that are devouring plastic in and around the Trash Fix.

- I think its not fair if all men dont drink that are Maori and PI, because most of the time it can get out of hand
and take it out on the wrong people.

- But I also think its fair if some drink because some or most problems can get sorted out in many different ways. Also men with that ethnicity can help their mates to stop from drink driving to stop problems that could occur over the time once they get into the drivers seat.

How are children, teenagers or young adults constructed in this text?

- By Their parents not having a good influence on their children, and showing whats not good. But it also shows a point to kids and teenagers that drinking and driving is not a good combo so they decide not to drink. Also maybe cause it can teach bad situations that can occur when drinking.

It present the ages in adult years and a couple children and also a few teenage years. 

Why is the text written this way?

its written this way as a good situation happened by this boy saying that they shouldn't drink and drive as he didn't have good thoughts in his head for if he was to drive himself.

Phobias

 Today in class we had a topic to choose of our own choice or what the site said and with my work partner "Kahciar" we had chose to work on the topic called Phobias, this was a pretty good topic to work on during class so i hope you love reading our work and understanding what happens with phobias.

Live Aid

Bob Geldof is a vocalist and artist and was a piece of the ¨Boomtown Rats¨. He was brought into the world in Ireland on 5 October 1951. He went to a private catholic school however educated the public that he didn't appreciate going to the school on account of its Catholic ethos and tormenting his absence of rugby abilities.

He was engaged with the Live Guide Show. Bob Geldof was one of the fundamental coordinators of the Live Guide show in Wembley Arena, London. It was held for 16 hours and was named a stone spectacle and was pointed toward fund-raising and mindfulness for Africa.

Midge Ure was an individual from the New Wave band Ultravox. He was the guitarist and singer for the gathering. Midge Ure was brought into the world on October 10, 1953, in Glasgow, Scotland. He was acclaimed for one of the hit melodies that he co-composed and delivered. The tune was ¨Do they Know It's Christmas?¨, which sold 3.7 million duplicates in the UK. The tune is the second most noteworthy selling single in UK outline history.

Along with bob Geldof they coordinated the Live Guide Show and delivered the single ¨Do they Realize It's Christmas?¨ Bob Geldof and Midge Ure were motivated by the predicament of starving youngsters that were generally seen on television. It was continued by holding two simultaneous 16-hour concerts in Philadelphia and London. Multiple artists like Paul McCartney and the band Queen received immense popularity during the concert. The concert raised $127 million and was broadcasted over to over 110 countries. Geldof, after the concert, went to Ethiopia to oversee the distribution of supplies, so that they're distributed fairly.

You could say that Live Aid was a form of protest. The concert was to raise awareness about the situation in Ethiopia and protests are done to raise awareness about a certain topic. 

Artists organise different concerts all the time and since there has been a lot of topics that need to be raised so I think that artists could come together and raise awareness and raise money to donate.

Whats is the song about: The song, 'When I'm Sixty-Four' is a love song by The Beatles. It was originally written by Paul McCartney but credited to Lennon-McCartney.
