Heart Dissection

Last time in science we were learning how to dissect a pig heart and learn about all the parts of the heart and also learning how we would cut it in different sorts of ways...

Here is 1 photo of it cut open and what colours it is and also what the inside of it looks like...

So that's what the inside of this pig heart looks like. That's it been cut in half...

We dissected hearts because we were learning about them before we dissected and we wanted to know the parts of a heart...
These are the parts of a heart below:
Heart Chambers, Valves, Vessels, Wall and Conduction System. The heart is made up of four chambers. The upper two chambers are called atria (singular: atrium) and the lower two are known as ventricles (singular: ventricle). Muscular walls, called septa or septum, divide the heart into two sides.

Well we did this dissection it was quit fun and i actually to be honest liked doing it... but at first i didn't really wanna do it but once i tried i liked doing it...
